    Hi everybody.

Can anyon explain why even when the T61 is docked or undocked it won't power on and thats with a good battery. The only workaround which is pretty dumb is that we have to re-seat the battery which doesn't always work. We tried using another battery same result. We even used a different T61 new from our stock, same thing. It shouldn't be all this headache just to turn on a new laptop. Do we have bad luck or whats going on? Thanks

You are not alone. I have the exact same problem with T61. It doesn't happen all the time either. (maybe 25% of the time). There are other people in my office that are having same problems with T61.

I've never had problems at home or on the train turning it on. It only happens if I dock before turning the power on and strange thing is that it doesn't happen all the time.
