T61 Price Match: will FW discount still hold?

My machine was shipped recently and I got it about 10 days ago.

Right now the same configuration is cheaper by around $40. I called the Lenovo rep and he told me that I can do a price match by submitting a quote.
I had also used Fatwallet while ordering the machine:

1) If I do a price match by submitting a new quote to Lenovo, will it cancel my FW cashback. (FW Cashback($$) > Price Match($$))

2) My FW cashback is still reported as pending in my FW user account. How much time does it take for the cashback to be available for use. It's been almost a month since I ordered the system and the status is still the same in FW.

 

Your FW discount will not stick around if you get a pricematch. Good thing you asked before you jumped in with both feet.

I hope there are no problems with FW. How much time does it typically take for a pending transaction to become available?
