Just recently bought a new R61i 14W" with a 4 cell battery integrated graphics notebook (bluetooth off) and it lasts about 2 hours (down to 10% - 12 minutes) with Energy Saver setting with internet on and minimal usage after a full charge Is this normal? Other postings have said 3 1/2 hours with same usage. What am I doing wrong on my setting? Could it be a defective battery?

Please list your usage time if you have a 4 cell battery and also your settings? Do you have battery stretch turned on?

    Thanks.

what is the LCD brightness level? what is the Wattage reading shown in Power Manager -> Battery Information?

I have a T61 with integrated graphics. With WiFi on wattage is about 9.5w at idle, LCD at 6/15.

2 hours on a 4 cell battery is spectacular. 1-1.5 is the norm. If you want 3 1/2 hours get a 6 cell battery.
