    Clean install your computer either with your own copy of vista or through the guides on here using your vista anytime upgrade DVD.

    Your other options are to manually delete the programs you don't want or to recover your system using the partition and pick and choose what software you don't want installed using lenovo's base software administrator.

    If you plan on manually deleting norton don't forget to use the norton removal tools to delete it. Here is a link:

    If you plan on running a clean install don't forget to burn your recovery DVD's before you do anything.

    I know I've seen you on here before asking questions about this stuff, so I'm assuming you were just trying to do reasearch on these things before you actually received your computer. If you have any other specific questions feel free to ask or use the search tool. These topics have been discussed in detail.

    Anyone who frequents this forum regulariy knows of the problem already. The point didnt need anymore proving.

    No, actually moderators won't respond. In fact, xnviews also made a thread about expanding the FAQ- it led to nothing. I'm only making one now so I can show ZaZ how crappy the FAQ is now and how we all feel about it. I've already PMed him.
