OH MY GOD
Holy ****.
If this isn't evidence for y'all to support my petition, these forums are going to hell. -
Clean install your computer either with your own copy of vista or through the guides on here using your vista anytime upgrade DVD.
Your other options are to manually delete the programs you don't want or to recover your system using the partition and pick and choose what software you don't want installed using lenovo's base software administrator.
If you plan on manually deleting norton don't forget to use the norton removal tools to delete it. Here is a link:

If you plan on running a clean install don't forget to burn your recovery DVD's before you do anything.
I know I've seen you on here before asking questions about this stuff, so I'm assuming you were just trying to do reasearch on these things before you actually received your computer. If you have any other specific questions feel free to ask or use the search tool. These topics have been discussed in detail. -

Oh man, now it's actually become a guessing game, whether or not we should help that person or not? This thread only adds to the clutter.

jd1010 actually took the time to type out a sincere response in hopes of helping "the" person. It really isnt cool at all. -
JD1010 just clarified the point with his response as stated earlier in the thread.
I think your missing the point here... -
