i have a T61 with a 4 GB SD HD card that was using ReadyBoost. i just realized that the drive is no longer recognized and everything i have checked appears fine (such as the drivers for the Ricoh card reader). now when i eject and re-insert the SD card the light shows the reader is active but Vista does not recognize it.

    any ideas?

Okay, I might be stating the obvious, but it never hurts to go over it, just in case. I am assuming you both tried: other cards in the reader? Or that particular SD card in another reader? Either way, it will give you the data you need to see if either the reader has gone bad for some reason or the card has. Your statement that the drive is no longer recognized in Vista is worrying, however.
