    Hey guys,

    I just got a new T61 with an intel x3100 graphics. I got aero to run properly etc.. but I can't seem to change the resolution. It seems like its stuck at 1280x800 and I want to change it to 1440 x 900. Is it possible?

    Thanks

    Your screen will only go as high as its native resolution, which I'm guessing is WXGA. What's your machine type?

    Well the specs were

    * Operating System: Windows XP Pro / upgrade for Windows Vista Business available for buyer. Buyers choice
    * Display: WXGA+ 1440 x 900 (LG screen)
    * Hard Drive: 80GB 7200RPM (Seagate Momentus 7200.1)
    * Memory: 1.5GB (1GB x 512MB), up to 4GB max
    * Ports: 3 USB 2.0, 1 FireWire, Monitor out, modem, Ethernet, headphone out, microphone in

    So I was assuming the I could get the resolution 1440x900, maybe...

    What happens when you try to change it? Can you move the dial to WXGA+ resolution? Does it reset back to WXGA or something?
