    T61 Screen cover lid

    I got my T61 today and the back of my T61 is slightly different then the T61 that was reviewed on the notebookreview.com.

    Can someone that got a T61 post a pic of this area of the T61, please.
    I don't have a digital camera so I can't post a pic of how mine looks like.

    Basically on mine, it's just a little, very little not aligned with the plastic. The plastic/rubber lid that is attached to the plastic part. There are also 4 little slits. In pairs. A pair on each side.

    The back of my 15.4'' 9-cell T61 looks exactly like the pic you posted.

    Yeah, the chinese review floating around here pointed out how it's not quite as square as previous T's.

    When I have some time I will snap some shots of my T60. Fit isnt really exactly spot on in quite a few places either, but as a while it is still VERY well built. Probably the oddest part is a "dimple" in the screen cover along one edge that results in a bezel overhang by about 1-2mm on the side.

    There's definitely a few gaps here and there, most notably the front of the notebook where the latches are. There's a little play on the right side of the palm-rest, so when i close the lid with one hand, sometimes only the left side of the lid fully latches.
