    Hi everyone,
I'm an avid user of the Thinkpad T61 and recently bought the Bay adaptor with a 500GB Western Digital Hardisk.

Unfortunately, after installation, I can no longer login to my Windows XP account even though the hardisk is detected properly.

Everything is fine and I can login seamlessly when I reverted back to my CD-ROM drive.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

    thanks

I'm not sure if this may help, but make sure your booting sequence starts from your main hard drive first. You can check this in your BIOS.
