    T61 Shipped Today!

    Hey all,

    I ordered my T61 on June 21st and today when I checked the order status since my memory that I ordered separate is expected to arrive today I decided to check with Lenovo. Much to my pleasure I saw that on June 25th, yesterday, it was shipped around China, and the expected arrival date is this Friday the 29th!

    I'm sorry about all of your troubles from the May purchasers as my transaction went fairly smooth so far. I'm not getting my hopes up that it'll arrive this week, but I find it pretty incredible that it is already on its way with all of you who've had the weeks of waiting in agony. I used an EPP plan, but it was my father's, not the Meyer's plan as that seemed to have caused a lot of issues amongst yall.

    I don't know if anyone in May configured it similarly to mine, but if they want to compare specs to the shipping date let me know:

    I got the following:
    14.1 inch screen WXGA+
    Nvidia card Quadro 140M
    120GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
    512MB memory (bought 4gb separate)
    bluetooth
    ABG wireless card
    finger print reader

    Those are the core specs of my hopefully soon to arrive T61 and I couldn't be more excited!
