well im glad to hear that your system has shipped is there an estimated ship date???

i knotice thought that you have integrated graphics and vista... not the delayed xpp and nvidia setup which i am sadly waiting for..

I think they're trying to get all the end of May beginning of June orders out, which were likely promised to get to them by the end of june. This way they'll have the few days before june 26th to get all delayed May 9th-24th orders completed. Us unlucky ones that ordered in that time period have been added to the back of the list(probably because they couldn't figure out how to put is in the front), and they're trying to get all the one in the front completed so that they can get to us. I'm willing to be there is a cutoff date of like june 11th or something. Everyone before june 11th(or a short time before that) will recieve their computers before us, and everyone that ordered after that date will on the back of the list behind all the delayed orders.

I don't even know if this makes sense, but it makes sense in my head.

Okay - we now know that it is the video card causing some delay. I ordered the EXACT same computer on the exact same day, and had the exact same ship date. The only difference is that I got the quadro.

Dammit.

 

That's a bad assumption to make since I've received mine last week from Lenovo.com with a quadro. The only difference I see between his config and mine is the battery. I picked 6 cell instead of 7.

 

Methinks its the camera. If you look on the site, it says "selecting this opion [camera] may delay your order."

Thank you for posting. That gives me hope. I ordered mine 5/29 with VERY similar specs (but mine has Vista Business), so I'll give a call tomorrow and see what's happening.

I am surprised .Mine was shipped on 6/12 and I got it today. I placed my original order on 5/9 . I changed the configuration on 6/7, they canceled my original order booked the new one and they shipped it after 5 days.

Just checked the web-site for like the gazillionth time since ordering on 5/29 and reading about shipping delays and guess what? It shows a shipping date of 6/14!
Until this morning it still showed 8/30 (I never got any emails from Lenovo explaining why the 6/8 I got when I clicked the order button turned into 8/30).
No tracking number yet, it says that the tracking number will be available the next morning (so tomorrow). Got an email a few hours later that it shipped as well.

I logged on my account in Levono to check the order status like I've

What a surprise it has shipped today 6/14. The estimated ship has been
6/22 thru out.
It says it's coming in UPS Ground***later it shows as Express which probably
will take only 2-3 biz days***.
