When running Vista on AC with the battery in and on "Maximum Performance Mode", CPU-Z correctly says that the speed is 2000MHz (multiplier x10). When I run Vista on AC with the battery out and still on "Maximum Performance Mode" CPU-Z reports 1200MHz (multiplier x6). Is it only my problem? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, but I think my situation is different:
    1. AC adapter plus battery + max perf mode: CPU-Z reads core spd 2000MHz
    2. AC adapter minus battery + max perf mode: CPU-Z reads core spd 1200MHz
    3. AC adapter minus battery + max battery life: CPU-Z reads core spd 1600MHz

Every case tested with SuperPI working in both cores.
