The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Please note: This is on 32-bit Vista Ultimate. Not 64-bit.

    opened up My Computer today and saw 4GB of memory on the bottom. Threw me off. So I did system properties and it reported the same. Is this something new? I distinctly remember it saying 3GB before. At least I think I did. :eek:

    I think I saw a thread where w/ sp1 update, it shows the correct amount, even though 32bit still can't utilize more than ~3.4gb
