I've been using a HP NC8430 notebook with WSXGA resolution since 1 year. I am planning to buy a new computer, because i realized, that i need something more portable. High resolution screen, business quality and good keyboard are important points for me. Therefore i am considering to buy a 14inch Thinkpad T61 with WXGA+ (1440x900) screen.
But in some reviews of T61, this screen is criticized for not being bright enough. Since i dont have any possibility to test this screen, i need help of friends, who had already experience with T61 14" WXGA+ and HP NC8430 WSXGA screens.
I am pleased with brightness, sharpness and viewing angles of NC8430. It is not as bright as some glossy screens, but it is enough for me. Under these circumstances, what should i expect from WXGA+ screen of T61?
