    T61 Windows 7 Battery Sleep

    When I put the computer to sleep for the night, by closing the lid, the battery might show like 50%. When I get up in the morning, the battery is still showing right around 50%. However while I use the laptop the battery seems to die when the meter is showing anywhere from 10-18% left.

    1. Why did the battery icon read a wrong value?

    2. Is the battery at fault, not a genuine Lenovo battery?

    3. Is there an issue with windows 7 and battery metering after sleep?

    I have checked the USB devices (mouse) and ensured the wake from sleep was unchecked. I have done the same for the wireless and ethernet.

    I ran the powercfg -energy command and here are two things I wonder about...

    USB Suspend:USB Device not Entering Suspend
    The USB device did not enter the Suspend state. Processor power management may be prevented if a USB device does not enter the Suspend state when not in use.
