    Hi all !
I've bought T61 yesterday, and actually i've tried to play around with it and i like it so much !
Anyways, i've a problem :( ! I have wireless router in my home, and there is WEP there for sure.
So i've searched for available WLAN and i found mine, and after i've played with the settings and such and i've included the WEP password.
Everything works fine, and T61 Intel wirless accepted that.. But the problem is that it does indicate that it is connected to the internet and i've tried to enter for example ( www.yahoo.com) website, it brings lets say half of the page then it stops.
If i disconnect, and reconnect again .. And enter anywebsite , it starts to download the page slowly then it stops sending or recieving anything ........

Whats wrong with my laptop? .. Is the T61 intel wireless not compatible with the router i have?

Please i really need your help !
I do appreciate it so much !

    Thank You .

    What router are you using?
As far as I know, vista doesn't work very well with WEP, which is the lowest level security setting.

Update your routers firmware and make it support WPA or WPA2 +AES, Vista works perfectly on that.

    Try it.

i run wep because of some components that only have that level. i have no problems with Vista. sounds like your hijacked. try resetting your IP stack. search for a program called winsockfix. run it and reboot. also, try a different browser than your using now (firefox, opera, safari) post your results.

One thing you may want to check is Powermanager... make sure your wireless settings are at maximum performance.
