This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    can anyone tell me how to temporarily disable the "contact manager" for outlook. every time i start any office application it tries to log on to a non-existing server. i could remove it from the add/remove sw menu but don't if that will disable anything else or if i will be to add it back on again since the computer did not come with any office cds.
