If i got a graphics card to go in the t61's advanced dock's pci express slot that would give me 4 video outs(2 vga and 2 dvi). so does that mean i could use 3 lcd monitors and disable my laptop monitor? I always thought 2 was the max for a laptop, but with a second video card could 3 be done?

If it could be done how would a 2.0 ghz T61 with 3 gbs of ram and the quadro 140 handle everything?

it sounds pretty feasible. i would double check with lenovo first though. if anything, you can always purchase USB video cards

the problem i am worried about is that maybe there is a software limitation or something preventing 3 external displays even htough the graphics card would support it.
