I have a T61 and an advanced mini dock. It does odd things.

    1) I tend to hibernate it when I leave - I ride a train, and often do work on that train once I get there. When I leave I hibernate the computer. When the screen I have attached to my docking station shows the computer is off I click the #2 button on the docking station. The odd thing is, I'll typically find that instead the computer is on standby, and has just sucked up about 20% of my battery in the last 20 minutes.

    2) When I am done my train trip towards work in the morning, I hibernate. I get in, plug in the docking station, and try to turn it on using the power button on the docking station. It doesn't work. I usually have to open the laptop and then close it again, to get the LCD screen to light up.

I figure I am doing something wrong. Any ideas? Is it because I am completely uncertain how to use the #1 button on the docking station????
