    Does anyone know a cheaper alternative for batteries NON-OEM? I am looking for a 9-cell for my T61.

    You can try the outlet. I got my six-cell scratch and dent from the outlet for $35. It looked new to me and had zero cycles. The supply yings and yangs, so keep trying.
