    T61 brightness issue after driver install

    Hello,

    faithfully followed the clean install documentation and everything is great except for the fact that after one of the driver installs (system interface I think) the screen brightness is always less than the max when the desktop is displayed after a reboot even though I have set it for max in the power options. After every reboot I have to manually turn up the brightness with the FN key.

    Any ideas what might be going on? I have checked the power settings multiple times and it indicates that it should be going to full brightness when on ac power.
