    Is there anybody here buy cooling pad for T61? I'm considering to buy Coolermaster Notepal Infinite, but unsure if it will bring any difference. thanks

    Is there really a reason to buy a cooling pad for the T61? I hear all the time how cool they run and that they never really get that hot. I ask because I'm considering a cooling pad, if I really make the purchase, but am beginning to doubt its necessity.

    I bought one of these about 6 months ago to keep my T60 notebook from overheating(it has overheating issues for some odd reason...) and it has really worked very well. Keeps the system cooler by about 10 C on average. Only downside is that the rear of this cooler does not have any padding on the bottom so you may scratch the surface of whateveryou put it on, so put padding on it yourself, or don't put it on any nice table!
