Is it possible to configure the T61 to log in via the fingerprint reader rather than typing in a password ??

I've always logged in my N3000 and T61p via the fingerprint reader.

    Isn't the T60 just like the T61?

I go to Control Panel and the User set up and all I can find is a method for typing in a password for login. I am wondering where the parameters are for allowing to log in via the fingerprint reader .....

Hmm, it didn't install the things needed when you first opened up your laptop? The second thing that happened to me after it was opened was to configure my FP reader to log-in to Vista. I love it lol.

All you need to do is going to lenovo website and install software for fingerprint. After that, you go to control panel to setup password manually and fingerprint will do that after.
As another post, this new techno is barely new. You still need keep your password in private area. You will need it when you want to change the password. Keep in mind that, your fingerprint data saves in your computer, combine with new techno CPU, people can access your data, and you maybe a victime in the future if someone want to change your whole life after that. Good luck to try.
