    T61 heat

    Hi

    I bought a t61 last week and felt hot in the bottom of the machine( left side middle portion) after 12-15 mins usage. any one has this experience? i have 7200 rpm 100gb drive .

    sorry guys, i clicked twice because of my wireless connection was bad.
    i am not running any programs other than the default programs shipped with T61. my taskpad showing norton protection center, diskeeper, intel access media acclerater for mobile,thinkvantage access connection & message center. I am just browing internet.

    i felt the heat on my left leg while i am using this laptop

    Well there will always be a slight warmth from the processor fan depending on what programs you are running. The only time I think that it may be uncomfortable is when you are generally using the processor to the max ie: gaming or some other high process.
