    I got my T61 yesterday, it took three weeks. It's a solid machine and I am impressed with the over all quality. The WSXGA+ was worth it, I was afraid it would be too small but it's just right. I was going to do a clean install but did not want to spend the money on a new 64 bit vista so I did a custom factory install last night and tweaked it. It is A LOT faster than the factory install. I will be around more I am sure to post some more

    If you have vista on your machine already, you don't need to spend any money on 64 bit vista. Your key will work for 64 bit. Just follow the clean install guide in the forum. It's an excellent guide! Using the ABR utility, you don't even need to enter the key or re-activate your 64 bit vista.

    This works flawlessly for me. I'm using 64 bit Vista Ultimate to take advantage of the 4GB ram.

    I can get 64 bit Vista BUT its home premium and I don't see the upgrade anytime DVD for sale here in Canada :(. The 64 bit Buisness key only works with 64 Business so thats the problem. I am done tweaking now though and its much better so going to leave it as I am happy with the performance. The only real concern I have is the laptop keyboard. Because I went to an egronomic keyboard two years ago because of my wrists. So if in a few days they get annoyed by the laptop keyboard (never had a laptop until now) I am going to have to return it and take a 15% hit or...use an egronomic keyboard with it but that defeats the purpose of it. Might as well get a desktop then.
