    Hi,
First post, and I did STFF, BTW. On my T61 I like to use the touchpad, but not for taping. I disabled tapping, but it seems to come back after every "sleep". Naturally, when I brought it to the company IT guy and attempted to demonstrate this issue (by disabling the tapping, then restarting), it did retain the setting. Since then, however, it's doing it again. Any thoughts?

Are you disabling it via right-click on the tray icon? Try disabling it from the actual setting software (Control Panel -> Mouse -> Last pane).

That is how I'm disabling it: control panel->mouse->UltraNav->TouchPad settings-> uncheck "enable tapping"-> apply->OK

Under Mouse Properties it says "show UltraNav icon on the system tray" and it's checked, but I don't see it.
