Does the the standard warranty cover keyboard ? Because my space bar is no longer sensitive but every other keys work well. And I don't feel like paying now .

Yes of course the KB is covered under warranty. They will ship you one for free. That's the advantage of owning a Thinkpad. Just call them and explain your problem.

I live in vietnam, the ibm distributor in vietnam does not want to ship me a new keyboard, they say they need to store my computer for five days for the technician open the keyboard to fix the space bar individually, they guarantee one odd thing " if its fixed it will break again in the near fureture".

What the heck of service ibm is giving customer ?

Are there any other certified Lenovo repair centers in Vietnam? This place sounds kinda sketchy with their guarantee. I'm thinking there's got to be more than one in Vietnam. If not, then just buy a keyboard and do it yourself to be safe.
