    T61 occassionally beeps

    Hi everyone,

    My T61 (less than a year old) has started to beep this week. So far, it doesn't seem to be at an interval, but lets out a single beep. Most of the time it has been docked when doing so, but yesterday it did it at the library once while plugged in. Does anyone know what this might be? Thanks.

    Does it do this while you are typing or while just sitting there idle? If you hit 3 or more keys at the same time the system will beep.

    It seems to be when sitting idle. I tried hitting multiple keys at the same time and I don't get any beeps.
