    I've made a topic about this before, but that was a week ago. So here's another config. I get a discount through OSU :D

    Buy it now or the dreaded question of wait for Montevina?

    I would buy now - get it over with and you will be perfectly happy with your purchase. You can't keep waiting. Hope this helps.
    EDIT: I was under the impression that montevina would not be released until november (see lenovo forum) but it seems the general consensus is July 15th. If this is true definitely wait!

    If you know that you will get the same discount when the Montevina''s come out, i'd suggest waiting. For those who have to rely on Lenovo Sales and Coupons to get discounts, i'd just buy now while the price is so good (thats what I did). If you have a standard discount through your school, and don't have to wait for Lenovo to discount them, wait it out man. I think I am going to love the T400.

    I did a Google search on the T400 and saw that the release date is Aug 5th. Any verification on that?

    I'm in the same dilema, but I need a laptop for school and it seems if i wait til august when they come out I wont have it by the time school starts which would really not be good. I'm pretty much leaning towards that exact model. Hard to pull the trigger on something that costs that much though.
