    T61 screen selection related to video card?

    Just a thought: could it be that Lenovo is sticking the crappier screens on models built with integrated graphics and putting the better ones on models with the Quadro cards, on the theory that people who pay a premium for discrete graphics are more likely to be discerning about that sort of thing?

    Are there any users who went with nvidia graphics and got stuck with a crappy screen?

    "crappy screen" is all a matter of taste and sensitivity...

    for what it's worth, I have the NVS140 and I'm satisfied with my screen quality. :)

    It's just a luck of the draw, what panel you get depends on what stock Lenovo has at the time of the assembly of your machine.
