    T61 some questions

    Hi,

    Just got my T61. Execellent machine. Very light, fast, sturdy, great screen and completely quiet (I ca't hear the disk or fans working at all).
    I have a couple of questions I hope someone can answer.
    1. I intend to remove the vista O.S and delete the hidden partition. As Lenovo is not providing recovery disks, I wanted to create recovery disks using Thinkvantage->create rescue media utility. However I don't have DVD burner and burning tons of CD's seems not practical. Anyone knows if I can create DVD images of the recovery disks on the hard disks and then burn them on another machine?

    2. I'm searching through the forum for help on how to determine which vendor made my screen (without the diagnostic software), but can't seem to find the relevant topic. Anyone can help here?
