    Hi,

I had ordered a T61 from the lenovo.com website on 15th and it shipped on 21st :) But as of 12:14PM this afternoon it is now stuck in Louisville, KY with the message "THE SHIPMENT IS BEING HELD BY BROKERAGE FOR REASONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL"

Has someone had a similar experience? Can anyone tell me why it is being held in KY? Also how can I solve the problem?

    Thanks,
    Auxin

There is no problem. Everyones whos package went though KY has experienced the same thing. This is UPSs message they put up when your package is going though customs. They have no control over customs, so they are letting you know that so you don't nag them I guess. After this it will look like your package has been sent to Alaska, and then it will come back to Kentucky, that is just UPS relaying documents to Alaska. After that it will be shortly in your hands. If you shipped express you might have it tomorrow, but I suspect you wont see your laptop until next week.

Here is the course my package took before it got to me:

Because people in Kentucky are dumb?

I got that last year with my T60 -- they said it was something about customs. But in my case it wasn't Kentucky, and it didn't take more than a few days. Still, Lenovo obviously needs to work on that.
