    T61 v2.14 BIOS flash has put a BIOS lock on my system

    Hi,

    Ive updated my T61 bios countless times but now im getting a bios lock requesting a password.

    what gives!

    ive never had a bios password and im wondering why this has come up now.

    I cant even get past this lock to reflash the BIOS again.

    does anyone have any ideas?

    beware this bios.

    i had to remove and reconnect the backup battery to get past the power on password.

    Sorry but NBR does not allow the discussion on how to bypass security measures like passwords for any reason. Try calling a Lenovo rep.
