    I wouldn't touch it as the GPUs are known defective.

    i wouldn't get it for anything more than 400 CAD, since it has nvidia GPU, which is faulty in lot of T61.

    In general i would avoid this computer if you are going to do anything graphic intensive on it.

    Also, it doesn't have a magnesium outer casing nor does the nvidia gpu have 512 mb of vram, it only has 128 mb of vram.

    If you're just looking for a general usage computer, the T61 or R61 with the Intel GPU are fine notebooks.

    I'm in the hunt for a cheap computer. Don't really have the time to wait for shipping so this T61 seemed like a pretty good deal.

    Happy I asked about it first though, thanks for the heads up.

    Get one on Ebay instead. A T61 with integrated graphics card should be even cheaper.
