    What is the difference between these two?
    They both have the magnesium roll cages, same Nvidia card, webcam, fingerprint reader, 14 widescreen form, etc.

    Is there a huge quality discrepancy between the two?

    R61 is thicker and heavier.

    Also the 15.4" R61 lacks the top lid roll cage (or was it the 14" one? I forgot).

    ultimately there is very little difference. I have beeen setting up and playing around with the two for the last few days and the biggest advantage the T has over the R is that it "looks" slimmer. Thats about it. Carrying the two around is the same.
