Title says it all.
I've been going nuts trying to figure out if this is possible. I can't seem to find a clear answer here or on google and work is requiring me to order a notebook tomorrow morning. I'm planning on getting a T61 with Intel X3100 running XP. The two screens connected externally through the mini dock would be a DVI widescreen Dell 20' @ 1680x1050 + VGA standard Dell 17' @ 1280x1024.
Is this possible?
Of note, I'd somehow try to turn off the T61's LCD screen since I do know that you can't run all three at the same time. If you have any ideas to if this is possible, please put them forward. It's *really* appreciated.

Not with the intergrated video. You will need the Discrete video chip for that.

Hi iencoder,
You need discrete graphics (NVIDIA 140 or 570) to be able to use the DVI port on the mini dock. The DVI port does not work with the X3100. -
Thank you so much for the replies, you just saved me a ton of problems.
Last question then, would a T61 with a NVS 140M be able to simultaneously output VGA + DVI on the mini dock for dual monitor? -
Update:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pcinstitute/psref/tabook.pdf
I'm planning on getting the getting the 646562U model. It clearly states that this model (with X3100) can do pass through to DVI on the Mini Dock.
So looks like I can at least run a single DVI monitor, let's say a 24' @ 1920x1200 through the Advanced Mini Dock.
T61 w/ X3100 = simultaneous VGA + DVI external monitors in advanced mini dock?
