    Hello all:

I got a brand new T61, and I'm a huge fan of Thinkpads.

Anyhow, I'm a little unimpressed with the video card, the Intel 965 express
card, and really struggling with its performance on games (mostly quake).
Does anyone else have this card, and I'm wondering if better drivers are
going to come out for this video card. There was no other options for me
when I had the system built, so I'm guessing this is the base line video card
which works great for everything except gaming.

Anyone else been through this, or dislike this video card. ?

That is an integrated card. It isn't made for gaming, unless you consider Minesweeper gaming lol. Other than basic computing needs, that card is useless.

So you have X3100? Go to Gaming section several threads about that IGP what it can and can't play. Driver talk everything you need to know about it. But it is not a dedicated card so not ideal for gaming.
