I am thinking about buying either a dualhead2go or triplehead2go to run 3 19 inch lcds but I am not sure if the the quadro 140 s will support 2560 x 1024 res? Iwould prefer via dvi but have a feeling it will only be supported with analog. can anybody confirm what my new t61's support would be for this res?

2560x1024 would definitely require VGA unless you have dual-link DVI (and I don't think so). Standard DVI ports top out at 1920x1200. Analog tops out at 2048x1536, which is more pixels than 2560x1024.

How about getting the Mini or Advanced Docks which I believe have DVI-D?
