No, the Quadro series is completely unaffected by Nvidia's epic failure.

I think it is failure if temperature of the GPU is too high!! because G84 using the same lead solder!! :(

Nvidia GPUs are rated to run at a maximum of ~100C; they regularly hit 80C when under load. I haven't read of any cases of the Quadro series failing as a result of poor manufacturing material; perhaps you could provide an article or link that proves otherwise? I would be glad to be corrected.

    I'm pretty sure mine is G86 ...

I've hit temps as high as 87 deg C ... with no crashes, lol. But mine is overclocked a lot, lol. Most of the time it tops at about 82 deg C.

I've been wondering the same thing- whether the nVIDIA Quadro graphics cards are also failing along with the GeForce consumer versions.

I had a ThinkPad T61p as my work laptop for over a year and it had the nVIDIA Quadro FX 570M (based on the GeForce 8600M GT). My current work notebook is a Dell Latitude D630 with a Quadro NVS 135M (based on the GeForce 8400M GS). The T61p never had an issue while I had it, nor did any of my colleagues with the same model. The Dell I have now was already close to a year old when I got it, so it's pushing two years at this point and no issues with the graphics card or anything else so far.....

Hopefully the Quadro models are exempt from the current nVIDIA issues.
