    Hey guys,

So it looks like Lenovo Canada got its act together, you can actually customize stuff now! And it's somewhat cheaper, I think it even beats visaperks right now.

I configured this right now for $1203

ThinkPad T61 with nVIDIA Graphics - 1 Year Depot Warranty
    Edit 7662CTO $1,203.00 1 $1,203.00
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00GHz 800MHz 2MBL2) 1
Operating system: Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 1
Operating system Language: Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium US English 1
    Display type: 14.1 WXGA+ TFT 1
System graphics: nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M 128MB 1
    Total memory: 1 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 (1 DIMM) 1
Keyboard Language: US English Keyboard 1
Pointing device: UltraNav (TrackPoint and TouchPad) 1
    Fingerprint : None 1
Hard drive: 120GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm 1
Optical device: CD-RW/DVD-ROM, Ultrabay Slim 1
System expansion slots: PC Card amp; Express Card Slots 1
    Bluetooth: Integrated Bluetooth PAN 1
WiFi wireless LAN adapters: Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965ABG (US/CAN/LA/AP) 1
    Modem: Yes - AMoM 1
    Battery: 6 cell Li-Ion Battery 1
AC Adapter, Power Code: 90W AC Adpt; NA, LA, (2pin) 1
Publication Language: US English Publication for Vista 1

It comes with base warranty (1 yr depot) but I can upgrade it to 3 years for $89 - just not sure if it's worth it if thinkpads are really built like tanks.

Good deal or bad deal? There was an option for eCoupon, but I haven't been able to find one yet.

It's either this or the Dell 1400 Vostro, but I can't seem to find one that's super cheap in Canada and is 2.0ghz.

If that was america, I would say you got the short end of the stick. With canadian prices I have seen recently, I wouldn't say that is bad
