Well, should I get the 14.1 WXGA TFT, w/ Camera or the 14.1 WXGA+ TFT or does it really not matter?

Well that is a tough choice that I am pondering as well, If you get the camera your resolution will be 1280x800 whereas if you go with the wXGA+ you get a better resolution of 1400x900 I believe. You have to ask your self what is more important.

Keep in mind its easier to just add a web cam than to change to a higher resolution down the road.

You should try to go see a 14.1 screen with 1440x900 in person, not everyone likes that resolution, some like it and others find things on the screen become too small. If you're not going to use 1440x900, then there is no point of getting the WXGA+.

14.1 WXGA+ TFT is the better choice if you work alot with microsoft word and excel. The camera is only 1.3 megapixel so it's not that great.

IMO the WXGA+ screen is much nicer to have than a webcam, the font is easy to read and it does give you more desktop real estate. You can always buy an external webcam and carry it around with the laptop (they are getting smaller and smaller by the day).

On a side note, you can get the a WXGA+ screen with a webcam in Canada...

    +1

You can always get an aftermarket webcam. You can always lower the resolution if you need to with WXGA+. You can't increase the resolution to 1440 if you go with WXGA. I prefer the screen real estate. It's harder to come by than a webcam.

These are important considerations. Consider how often you use a webcam vs how often you use the display. ;) Seriously, what are you really needing to use the webcam for, how often will you use it, and would an aftermarket webcam work just as well?

You used to be able to get the webcam on the WXGA+ screen. I hope it changes for the Txx series coming soon.
