    T61: Misaligned Keyboard Light

    Any else have a misaligned keyboard light?

    The keyboard light on my new T61 won't illuminate my keyboard unless the display is literally perpendicular to the keyboard.

    Was repair by Lenovo adequate? Thanks.

    What is the alignment supposed to be? I would also need an almost right angle alignment on the screen to make the keyboard light practical. And to get any light on the number keys or function keys means pulling the lid farther forward.

    with my thinkpad opened up to about a 110 degree angle , the thinklight will illuminate the letter keys towards the left pretty decently and those towards the right are visible but not as clear.

    The numbers are also visible but the function buttons are almost impossible to see in the pitch dark.
