Could this be software related? Since it is a memory error i personally doubt it, but then again I'm not a computer engineer. If not do you think Lenovo will swap it on warranty? I can't say I have had any concrete trobles from this, but a 3500USD + computer should work flawlessly and pass all benchmrking without problems.

    Regards

If it's under warranty, Lenovo should handle it. However, it may not necessarily be a hardware problem. For example, I found this link that details a similar problem:

    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-62738

In that case, the video memory test failed, but it was actually an issue with PCDoctor. Are you sure you have the latest videocard drivers and the latest version of PCDoctor?

Here's a person who posted the exact same problem as you: http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.id=T_Series_Thinkpads&message.id=3716

In the end, you can always call up Lenovo and see what they have to say.

    Also...$3500?!?!

Thank you very much for your answers, i'll f'course call lenovo as soom as Easter holiday is over. However i figured it best to ask in here first.

(As for the price tag i bought my computer in october. And 3500 USD including shipping to sweden is was not that bad then. Especially since it costed somwhere between 6000 and 6500 USD [circa 40000 SEK] back then.)

As for my GFX: I just finished the CnC3 Kanes Wrath campaign, no GFX-related errors, just the usual overheating problem you experience after 6hours+ non-stop load on the thingy.

    Thanks again!
