    ok, system in my signature

    1) I ve just ordered Advanced minidock (DVI!!) and would like to buy a 24" LCD (HP w2408). Anybody using this kind of setup? What about resolution 1920x1200 , when you play some movies (low res) or older games? Does it still look good on such a vast screen? (the only game I would actually like to enjoy on this is the Darkstar One). Well, just wondering what experience you have - putting the notebook in the drawer and using wireless KB+Mouse and 24" LCD :).

    2) I got LG Phillips WSXGA display (LG Philips LP154W02) and I love the screen, I also have slight light leakage at the bottom, which I dont care about at all, I dont notice it at all, BUT I have a question for a competent reader. Does the light leakage gets worse through the time?? Should I be worried about something else then just the "cosmetics" when my black screensavers on?

    3) Does anyone has a photo guide How to install a new HDD on T61 models?
And which HDD to buy of these:
    a) Hitachi Travelstar 200GB 7200RPM
    b) Seagate Momentus 200GB 7200RPM

Where can I buy the Hitachi Travelstar with enabled Data Encryption? (The one that lenovo offers now when customizing configuration).

ok, that s all :) looking forward to answers

    Hi Zury,
I can only comment on point 1)
I am using my T61 with the Advanced Mini dock and a 24" Gateway connected via DVI. Looks great.
    Games and movies look beautiful.
Once you get used to 1900x1200 it is tough to work on anything less!
Even my 22" 1680x1050 at work now looks small...
    You'll love it.

Somebody actually got the new 200GB Seagate Momentus and it had better speeds then Travelstar 7K200 (burst speed was even 95MB/s), thats why I began to wonder where did Hitachi comrades go wrong ...

As long as your using a discrete video card, which you are, you will be fine with that external monitor.
