    T61P Cancelled order - but it shipped.

    I ordered a T61P on July 25th and it had an estimated ship date of Aug 8. Yesterday I called sales to find out the status of the order and they said it would take another 2 weeks - so I cancelled the order hoping to wait until next week to get a W500. Last night I received a shipping confirmation email - my order will be here on Tuesday. So, Should I keep the T61P or should I send it back and get the W500. I am a web developer.

    I checked and it seems like I am getting the Samsung WUXGA Screen and the NMB Keyboard. T9300 Processor, 4g ram.

    bluetooth? I called yesterday and they said it would be another 2 weeks for my t61 because of the bluetooth, I was about to cancel. I may call on monday and tell them to give me an outlet one comparably equipped so i dont have to cancel my order. This is making me happy if you have bluetooth :)

    If you canceled the order before they shipped it (it may take a couple of days between you canceling it and the change to reach the shipping depot), then they will send you an RMA code for you to send the package back to them. This happened with my first order for my T61.

    Anyways, the differences between the T61p and the W500 will not be that great performance-wise and the difference in price (especially with all these sales going on) will be significant. On a side note, I'm not entirely sure that the W500 will be released on the 5th, I remember reading somewhere that it will be delayed for a couple of months (same thing happened with the T61 and the T61p).

    They always trickle out at first as they work out the kinks. I wouldn't count on getting it quickly.
