Quick question guys. Is that connector in the back of the base of the t61p an external antenna jack for wifi. The connector is located under the DVDRW drive. Any input because I'm thinking about buying an external wifi adapter with a badass antenna. If that connector is an external wifi input, it would save me some money. Thanks guys.

I think you are looking at the threaded hole for the security bolt that stops the removal of the Ultrabay device. The hole is molded into the lever that releases the Ultrabay device. The bolt, with a Torx head, should have came with your computer's literature in a separate plastic bag.

As far as I know, there is no external wifi antenna connector.
