    Hi,

Im new to the forum, and I fear that I made a completely idiotic move today. This is more of a windows issue I guess.

At my college they give us (We pay) T61p Laptops. There setup to work on the school server, I log in via the "Welcome to Windows" "Press Ctl Alt Delete"

I wanted to take a stab at printing wirelessly, it didnt work. So in my stupidity I went to My Computer properties, Computer Name, and then clicked on Network ID. Now this is where the stupid shines through. I checked the box next to " This computer is for home use and is not part of a business network".

After restarting I now no longer can log in via my original username and password. Im at a loss, I have no idea as to what to do.

I would greatly appreciate any help!

    Andrew,
There is no shame in seeking out help now. Your not supposed to have exertise here. Go to your university shop with your notebook take it. Of course a solution just occurred to me. You can always copy a new model to yours. the one thing youd have to have right is the unit id.

It just occured to me, since I do own a t61p also that you will need the
unit Id (the hexidecimal of the unit itself) as the system id.
    Good luck!
    Renee
