    Hi Guys,

So straight to the point! :)

Is it possible to get an SSD drive (guess it would be one of the expresscard ones? or is there a better way??) Install Vista onto it and get the machine to boot from the SSD into Vista :D . Is this possible?

    Cheers,

    P

NO...its not. there have been several threads on the internet with attempts, none that I have found successful.

You can buy an SSD replacement for your HDD, but I can't confirm if you could install Vista to a separate SSD and boot from it. I suppose you could, however you'd have to be careful with any future installations of programs because they would very likely default to the (small) SSD.

    Edit: Nevermind, Flamenko's probably right.

So can you explain why not? If the BIOS can recognise the disk at start up why can't you boot from it?
