    the T9300 is a 45nm processor. This is a CPU in the Penryn series and they're very good... probably the best laptop CPU out there right now. Plus, they don't overheat :)

    In theories yes.. It should be better but there's not a big difference between the T9300 and the T9500. Most of the people go for the T9300 because the T9500 is like 100$ more expensive

    paying $200~ just for 0.01Ghz doesn't really worth it IMO

    what about the jump from t8300 to t9300?

    From my point of view it will be hardly noticeable (130Mhz speed difference, but with an extra 3MB of L2 cache for the T9300). You will notice it if you do a lot of CPU intensive work (but yet again, hardly noticeable). You'll have to go more than 130Mhz and 3MB of cache to really see the difference. A T9500 from a T8300 is something, but then again, so is the price.

    I agree.. The +3mb of cache is a great improvement ;) I would say go for the T9300

    Cache doesn't increase the performance, especially going from 3mb to 6mb.

    Save the money and go for the SSD HDD. This is the only way to see a huge improvement.
