This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     T61P Windows 7 Matrix AHCI

    I have an issue with Windows 7. The matrix driver will not install, stating that the default MS one works, although when I switch to AHCI, it bluescreens. I am not seeing the performance I would expect from the Seagate 500GB 7,200RPM drive, it is my hope that the NLQ would help.

    Anyone got it working?

    AHCI usually works under Linux, with no additional drivers : )
