So I installed orange box a few days ago with no problems. Half-life 2 runs essentially on high with anti-aliasing off (default settings) at 1680x1050. I have a 2.2ghz, 2gig ram, with stock 570m drivers.

My question pertains to when I actually play the games. The graphics are fine, and its never sluggish, but sometimes when i move around a lot the graphics chop up. It is difficult to explain because though it chops up it still runs smooth, without hiccups. Does anybody know what I am talking about, and is there anyway to solve this problem? The only thing I can think of is that the stock drivers are no good...but the games run fine..so i dont know. Any help would be appreciated....thanks.

Does the same thing happen when played on a lower resolution?

    have you tried using ''Vsync''???

its locks the fps to 60hz and so the fps wont change as much e.g. form 60-100+ up n down....up n down :p

just give that a go :)

sounds like something that could work, but how do I fix the Vsync? I do not even know where that option exists.

NVM...i think i found the option to force on vertical sync. It seems to have worked. Thank you very much.
